There was a lot of pressure on The Walking Dead season 11. First off, it was the show’s longest ever season, running for 24 episodes (and given that the first season was only six, that shows you how much it has grown). It was also the final season of the series, meaning that it would have to go big before it went home.

And go big is exactly what TWD season 11 did, bringing the show to an end in an explosive fashion, with the survivors going up against Pamela and the Commonwealth in the hopes of finding a forever-sanctuary. Naturally, there were some major TWD deaths along the way.

Everyone who dies in The Walking Dead season 11

It wasn’t unexpected to see some major deaths in The Walking Dead season 11 given that it was the final season. Some of them, however, were a little unexpected.

Alden may have been this season’s most quietly emotional death, as the mainstay sadly passed away from his injuries after the initial attack from the Reapers (even though it seemed like he might survive).

Meanwhile, the most heartbreaking death of all was Rosita Espinosa, who died in the series finale after being bitten by a walker. Even though she died peacefully after her family achieved a major victory, viewers were destroyed when she revealed her fate.
