Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania release date: When does Ant-Man 3 come out?
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is nearly upon us, but when exactly does the Marvel Phase 5 movie come out?
The arrival of a new year brings the start of a new phase for Marvel fans, who have set their sights on the next title in the always-evolving Marvel Cinematic Universe. That next title looks to reunite us with Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly), Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton), Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), and Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer). That’s right, it’s almost time for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
One of the most eagerly-awaited entries of the MCU’s new chapter since it was first announced, Quantumania looks to introduce the shared universe’s newest major threat in Kang the Conqueror. That means Ant-Man’s world just got a lot bigger than it has ever been – something that feels earned for the Peyton Reed-directed franchise after Scott proved himself in Avengers: Endgame.
If you’re ready for the film, here’s when you can go and see it in theaters.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania release date
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will be released in movie theaters on February 17, 2023.
Now, if you’ve been keeping up with the MCU movies, shows, and news, you’ll probably know that it has had its release date shifted around quite a few times. It was initially planned for release in 2022, but Marvel Studios then decided to delay it to its current February 2023 release date. But that wouldn’t be the last of the moves, as it was subsequently delayed to July 2023 before it was ultimately swapped with fellow MCU movie The Marvels, returning to the February date.
It was then later revealed that the movie, once thought to be a Phase Four installment, would actually be the opener of Phase Five. And given that it’s introducing the next big MCU bad, that feels right.
