Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania: Which characters will die?

If Evangeline Lilly doesn’t come back, it’s not because she isn’t amazing at the role. This is a situation where an emotional death can enhance the movie. Hope van Dyne dying would leave Scott Lang heartbroken. It would feel like his life would never be complete. He gets his daughter back just to lose the woman he loves.

However, if this writer is correct and Scott dies, Cassie Lang could become Ant-Man with Hope being her mentor. That means the Ant-Man and the Wasp franchise could continue. This may make more sense.

Kang

There’s one thing to remember when thinking about Kang; there could be an unlimited number of him. He Who Remains mentioned this out in season 1 of Loki. That means his death wouldn’t mean much in the grand scheme of things. If he dies, another one will fill the void.

In short, Kang will die, so another can appear. Maybe one with a new personality and goals. This leaves Jonathan Majors with a lot of job security. He could play Kang as long as needed and be a different one each time. This would also give fans a new kind of antagonist every time Kang’s around while keeping a familiar face.
