When does The Last of Us episode 2 come out?

The Last of Us episode 2, titled “Infected”, will premiere on HBO and HBO Max on Sunday, January 22, at 9 pm Eastern Standard Time, 8 pm Central Time, and 6 pm Pacific Standard Time. As of now, the times and dates will remain the same throughout, with new episodes releasing every Sunday until the season finale.

Unlike some network TV shows (or fellow HBO Max entries like Titans and Doom Patrol), The Last of Us will not adopt the half season break. The HBO show will continue on throughout the season until the season finale. Since this season is nine episodes, the season finale will debut March 12, 2023.
