Titans season 4 part 2 release updates: When the show could return

Titans season 4 part 2 may be on its way this Spring. Here’s when we might be able to expect new episodes of the HBO Max series.

After a year off our screens, DC’s Titans made its long-awaited comeback in November to kick off its fourth season. Ahead of its launch, it was revealed that the season would be split into two halves – an approach other streamers had taken with their original shows and HBO Max was now trying with both Titans and Doom Patrol.

The first six episodes aired through November and received widespread acclaim, with most referring to season 4 part 1 as Titans‘ most consistent stretch yet (and honestly, they’re right). But the Titans’ battle with Brother Blood and Mother Mayhem is far from over and the midseason finale has only left fans with more questions.

No return date had been given for when Titans would be back on screen with season 4 episode 7, titled “Dude, Where’s My Gar” (which is believed to be a crossover with DC’s Stargirl), but a recent update may have shed some light on that.

Titans season 4 part 2 release date updates

Fans had hoped that Titans would return after the first half of Doom Patrol season 4 aired on HBO Max, but that ultimately didn’t happen as the streamer unveiled its January line-up and Titans season 4 part 2 wasn’t on it. We know it will be back, but the question is: When?

That’s a question that a recent update might be able to answer. As reported by The Direct, Titans director Nick Copus recently took to Instagram to celebrate his one year anniversary of working on the show, sharing a photo of Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson, Jay Lycurgo as Tim Drake, Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth, and Ryan Potter as Garfield Logan.

In the comments of the post, the director responded with a potential revelation about the Titans season 4 part 2 release date, commenting:

"“Part two I believe will air on HBO MAX in April. I am sworn to secrecy on Season Five… nuff said”"

The mention of season 5 is quite exciting in and of itself (and perhaps reassuring to fans worried that the title of the season 4 finale sounds like a series finale), but it sounds like Titans season 4 part 2 will premiere in April on HBO Max.

It’s important to note that the streamer has not announced this yet, so Warner could always change their minds and release it at a different time, but an update like this one is promising when you consider it’s essentially been radio silent since part 1 concluded.
