Another week, another amazing episode of The Last of Us. HBO’s adaptation of the video game franchise isn’t just living up to expectations, it’s exceeding them by far.

Its sophomore outing premiered on screens this week and it added a lot more background to all three of the main characters, expanding on their unique dynamic and endearing them to audiences a lot more. It also had some pretty jaw-dropping fallout that will undoubtedly leave viewers in need of more answers.

The Last of Us season 1 episode 3 will air on HBO and stream on HBO Max next Sunday, January 29 2023. Judging by the trailer, it appears that Joel will follow Tess’ advice and make his way out to see Bill and Frank.

We’ve heard Bill and Frank mentioned twice in the show now, and fans of the video game will know that they are familiar presences as far as Joel is concerned. The pair are indeed set to appear in the upcoming third episode, portrayed by Nick Offerman and Murray Bartlett.

The trailer gives us our first look at the actors in action and suggests we might see how they even crossed paths. It also alludes to some of the other threats we can expect to see on the show – and after Clickers made their debut in this week’s installment, who knows what’s next!
