What time is The Winchesters on tonight? (January 24, 2023)
The Winchesters makes its long awaited return to The CW tonight but at a different time. What time can you expect episode 8 to premiere?
It’s been weeks since The Winchesters concluded the first half of its debut season on The CW. An intense midseason finale, the episode saw John Winchester (Drake Rodger) and Mary Campbell (Meg Donnelly) go up against Rockin’ Roxy (Bridget Regan) and an army of Akrida.
That adventure saw them come too close to death, which led to a passionate first kiss. It also saw Mary reunited with her father Samuel (Tom Welling).
The show is set to return to the network after its holiday hiatus with its midseason premiere tonight. But what time can you expect “Hang On To Your Life” to air?
What time is The Winchesters on tonight? (Tuesday, January 24 2023)
The Winchesters season 1 episode 8 airs on The CW tonight at 9:00 p.m. ET. Yes, that’s an hour later than the show’s first seven episodes aired in. The network hasn’t explained the reasoning behind the sudden time change, especially as they aren’t replacing it in the 8pm timeslot with anything new.
The change could be down to the show potentially venturing into darker territory. With the season 1 finale in sight, and the war with the Akrida heating up, things could head into more mature than they were previously – this is something that wouldn’t necessarily surprise fans of the Supernatural franchise, as that show was known to get dark when the battle of good and evil intensified.
The good news is that The CW will be airing a rerun of the midseason finale before the midseason premiere (yes, in the show’s old 8pm timeslot), so if you need to catch up on the show, that’s the perfect opportunity to refresh your memory before new episodes begin.
