Teen Wolf: The Movie brings us back to Beacon Hills for a new adventure, but is Cody Christian back to bring Theo Raeken to our screens again?

The town of Beacon Hills has been under the protection of Scott McCall and his pack for many years now. But it’s going to need that protection more than ever when it finds itself under attack from a dangerous new threat.

Joining forces with Sheriff Stilinski, Scott and his pack will seek to put a stop to the danger before it claims any victims. But with that very threat resurrecting Scott’s first love, Allison Argent – accomplished hunter Allison Argent – to seemingly do its bidding, that will be easier said than done.

However, Scott’s friends will have his back and that means we will see plenty of familiar faces from the MTV show. But what about Theo Raeken? The former villain-turned-ally did prove himself a worthy addition to the pack in the final season of Teen Wolf, but will Cody Christian be reprising the role in Teen Wolf: The Movie?

Is Cody Christian in Teen Wolf: The Movie?

No, Cody Christian sadly won’t be returning for Teen Wolf: The Movie. The actor confirmed the news on Instagram not long after the initial announcement that the cast would be reuniting for the revival movie. As for why he won’t be back, it seems that it was simply down to scheduling.

Christian is currently a series regular on The CW’s All American (which was just renewed for its sixth season) and, as he was filming the show at the time, the stars did not align and he wasn’t able to make it work.

However, it sounds like he would definitely be up for reprising his role in a future installment as the actor added that he was “excited to see what’s next in” the Teen Wolf Universe.

Teen Wolf: The Movie is released on Paramount Plus on Thursday, January 26 2023.
