Secret Invasion is not coming to Disney Plus in February 2023

Disney Plus will have many new titles arriving this month month but Marvel’s Secret Invasion will not be one of them.

At this point the biggest secret regarding Secret Invasion is when it’s coming out. The Marvel Studios series has been promised to fans as an early/spring 2023 title, but as we edge closer to that release window, there are crickets.

Nobody loves a good mystery more than the Marvel Cinematic Universe fans, but it goes without saying that they would like to know when to expect the first live-action MCU Disney Plus series of the year – especially as it brings back Nick Fury, adapts the iconic comic of the same name, and features a star-studded cast (including Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Cobie Smulders, Emilia Clarke, and Olivia Colman).

But alas, the mystery will continue for another while yet. Disney Plus have released their February line-up, and Secret Invasion is not listed among the new shows. With that in mind, when exactly can we expect it?

Secret Invasion release date predictions

Secret Invasion is currently set for release in spring 2023. There was initially hope that it might arrive a little earlier in the year (being that it is the first live-action MCU show to land on the streamer this year), but Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige confirmed the springtime release at San Diego Comic-Con last year.

A more specific window has yet to be announced. Theoretically, Secret Invasion could premiere as early as March, but given that The Mandalorian gets the major Wednesday release slot from March 1 onwards, it’s looking more likely that it will debut in April or May.

While Disney Plus did allow a Marvel and Star Wars show to run alongside each other last year with Ms. Marvel and Obi-Wan Kenobi both premiering new episodes on Wednesdays, don’t be surprised if that doesn’t happen with these two. The Mandalorian is the biggest Star Wars series, and its return has been a long time coming, so it’s unlikely that Disney would want it clashing with a Marvel show.

As always, that’s just a prediction and it’s best to wait on an official confirmation from Marvel Studios, but unless that spring release window changes, Secret Invasion will definitely be premiering before June.
