Superman and Lois season 3 is not coming to The CW in February 2023

The CW will see some shows returning in this coming month, but Superman and Lois season 3 will not be one of them.

DC fans have been counting down the days for Superman and Lois season 3’s arrival on The CW. Considering that the show’s second season concluded in June, there have been many days to count.

The first trailer for the new season made its presence felt in recent weeks, teasing some more tense times for the Fam of Steel, and it’s no exaggeration to say that fans can’t wait to see how they tackle those obstacles (and overcome them) when the show returns.

Unfortunately, the third season won’t be premiering this coming month. While fellow DC TV series The Flash will premiere with its ninth season in February, Superman and Lois season 3 is a little further away. Thankfully, we know when it will premiere.

Superman and Lois season 3 release date

Superman and Lois season 3 will premiere on The CW on Tuesday, March 14, at 8:00 p.m. ET. It will air as part of the network’s “Super Knight” block, leading into new DC TV series Gotham Knights. New episodes will then air weekly on Tuesday nights (with potential exceptions being made for when a break is needed).

The third season of Superman and Lois certainly looks like it’s going to be another tense year for the iconic DC super couple. The trailer teased chaos for the Kent-Lane-Irons family, yes, but we also know that the season will introduce two new major villains (who are both ironically portrayed by two stars of The Walking Dead).

Chad L. Coleman will bring Bruno Mannheim to life as the potential big bad of the season, while a recent announcement revealed that Michael Cudlitz will play the Man of Steel’s archenemy Lex Luthor.

We don’t have long to go until Superman and Lois season 3 premieres, and we cannot wait to see what it has in store for us.
