The Last of Us episode 3 runtime: How long is episode 3?
Fans are ready for more from The Last of Us, and that’s exactly what they are going to get in Episode 3. A lot more, in fact. But just how long is it?
The second episode of The Last of Us may have been more traumatic than the first. The HBO series has been firing on all cylinders since it debuted and it shows no signs of slowing down as we head into what might just be the most pivotal episode of the season.
If you’ve been watching the show on TV (or streaming it on HBO Max), you probably won’t be surprised by its success. It has truly gripped its audience with each passing moment of the first two episodes, and it will undoubtedly do it all again in episode 3.
But how long does the show plan to hook us for this week? Will the third episode be a long-watch or a quicker one more akin to last week’s sophomore episode?
How long is The Last of Us episode 3?
The Last of Us episode 3 has a runtime of 1 hour and 20 minutes (80 minutes). Yes, that means we’re back to having a super-long installment of the show, putting it much closer in length to the premiere episode than the second outing – which only came in at a respectable 55 minutes.
The Last of Us was initially going to have 10 episodes in its first season (instead of the nine that it does now), so it’s really not that surprising that some episodes are this long, especially the premiere episode.
“Long Long Time” will introduce video game characters Bill and Frank, and it’s also expected to feature some monumental changes that may generate quite the reaction from some video game fans.
