Viltrumites, Capes, Inc and, more

One of the amazing things about Invincible is that there are a ton of teams and stories to tell that don’t require a lot of character development. Capes, Inc, Guardians of the Globe, and the Viltrumites are three examples.

Nolan told the basics of what happened on planet Viltrum and what their culture is. But there’s more to it. The Viltrumites were eventually betrayed by one of their own. That person helped create a virus that killed a lot of their people. This could work as a trilogy that leads to Nolan making his way to Earth.

The original Guardians of the Globe team have stories that haven’t been told in the show or the comics. That means the creative team can take as much liberty as they want to make an entertaining story. They may seem like the Justice League, but that doesn’t mean they have to be that in the movie.

Then there’s Capes, Inc. Capes, Inc is about heroes who use their powers and get paid for it. They punch in and out, get overtime, have roll-calls, health care, and more. The comic book series has a lot of interpersonal romances, shenanigans, and so much more. This is the story that deserves a live-action project.

Overall, a live-action movie starring Invincible will be seen and most likely be good. If Robert Kirkman and Seth Rogan are involved, this writer will continue to have faith in the project. Even if he believes it should stay animated.
