Every DC movie and TV show coming from James Gunn’s DC Universe
James Gunn and Peter Safran have revealed the first chapter of their DC Universe. What can fans expect from the new DCEU?
It’s been a tough year for DC fans. I can’t tell you how many times that thought has crossed through my mind since 2022 began, and I’m not the only one, because DC fans have had it rough.
Once considered the premiere source of superhero television, the company’s DCTV shows have been obliterated as The CW, HBO Max, and Warner Bros. Discovery all head in different directions. While The CW’s unclear future is a different story, the Warner and HBO Max chapters are all down to Warner Bros. Discovery’s new chapter for the DC Universe.
We’ve lost Henry Cavill’s Superman, a planned Michael Keaton Batman Beyond movie, and Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman 3. But what have we gained in return?
After much anticipation, DC Studios’ new co-chairmen and CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran have revealed what they have planned for the first chapter of their DC Universe slate. Here is everything we can expect.
DC movies and TV shows in DC Universe Slate’s Chapter One
- Booster Gold (TV series)
- Swamp Thing
- The Authority
- Superman: Legacy
- Green Lantern (TV series)
- The Brave and the Bold
- Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow
- Creature Commandos
- Waller (Peacemaker spin-off)
- Paradise Lost
During all of this, Gunn and Safran also confirmed that Superman and Lois has “one or two more seasons” left in it, and that Peacemaker season 2 could be on hold for a little bit now that the Waller spin-off will be the priority.
