X-Men: Before the Fall of X, Marvel brings us ‘Before the Fall’

Before the X-Men event Fall of X, here are the four comics Marvel will release that’ll lead into the summer’s X-event and how they will affect the future.

This year, Marvel’s Fall of X will determine the future of Krakoa and mutants in general. There’s currently an X-Men series going on called Sins of Sinister. Both of them will conclude with major changes to all mutants and Krakoa.

However, after Sins of Sinister and before Fall of X, four titles will be released. They will help build up to what could be the end of the Krakoan era. Here they are, what Marvel says about them, and predictions on the series.

Sons of X

"Marvel Explanation: A man of innumerable personalities and powers vs. the most powerful artificial intelligence in this universe: Legion vs. Nimrod! With Nightcrawler in Orchis’ clutches, David Haller and his allies will have to confront the mastermind who destroyed Warlock and nearly took Krakoa with him. But Nightcrawler is not himself… and Legion’s allies aren’t all they seem to be either."

Legion is one of the most powerful beings in all of comics. Nimrod is a Sentinel with the ability to adapt to any power. Their battle is going to be a classic. If this writer had to guess, Legion will win. He can overwhelm Nimrod until It can’t adapt. Since Nightcralwer is involved, Legion will give more of an effort to get him back. Without him, Legion wouldn’t have his safe space. However, maybe this is the one thing Legion can’t overcome.

Mutants First Strike

"Marvel Explanation: A deadly mutant attacks an innocent small town, but nothing is what it seems. Jean Grey, Cyclops, and Bishop are tasked with a routine mission, but as they dig deeper, they uncover a hidden truth that will send shockwaves through mutantkind."

This is going to be the part that affects mutants the most. The problem here will lead to a conspiracy that’s going to make human and mutant relations worse. Yes, that’s possible. The easy guess is that Sinister or Orchis was behind it. Since this is the X-Men, it’s likely someone else. With someone other than the obvious killing Doctor Strange (Death of Doctor Strange), look for the same thing to happen here.

Heralds of Apocalypse

"Marvel Explanation: Not seen since the shocking ending of X OF SWORDS, Apocalypse and his family have battled for survival in the harsh land of Amenth. Do they rule over this twisted world or do its demonic inhabitants rule them? And how has Apocalypse felt about the choices the Quiet Council has made in his absence?"

When Apocalypse returns, he’s going to be furious. Magneto is dead, he was lied to about Moira being involved with the birth of Krakoa, and the Quiet Council let so many atrocities go unchecked. What En Sabah Nur does will be interesting. Will he become angry and try to change things? Or, and this could be worse, does he leave them with their shame? At least the first option may lead to change. The other might result in Apocalypse denouncing Krakoa and maybe war. If that happens, mutants will leave and join Apocalypse. Storm could be among them.

Sinister Four

"Marvel Explanation: In the aftermath of SINS OF SINISTER, all four Sinisters have been unmasked. They’ve gotten a taste of universal control, but their true plans for mutantkind are just beginning…"

As if one Mr. Sinister isn’t enough, now there’s four of them. We can guess that all of them will have a different playing card symbol on their heads and different personalities. It’s also an easy assumption that they’re also all evil.

Marvel Comics readers won’t know who the other Four Sinisters are until Sins of Sinister concludes. Whatever they have planned, be certain that this won’t be good. This is why the true cause of the Fall of X will probably be because of the Sinister Four. Hopefully coming together to stop him will keep Krakoa going.
