The Last of Us returns with its fourth episode tonight. When can you watch it on HBO or stream it on HBO Max?

The Last of Us is just three episodes in and it’s already the biggest show on US TV right now. There really is no escaping the adoration for the show, which has taken the world by storm, and that was clearer than ever after last week’s stunning episode.

The show took its first significant deviation from the source material and it was a welcome one, as it chose to show us Bill and Frank’s heartfelt love story instead of having Bill tell us about it after Frank died. There were also some other changes to the narrative that creator Neil Druckmann knew would get some strong reactions from the video game fans, but they were ones that only added to the story (and we’ll not spoil them here).

If you’re emotionally prepared for the next chapter of The Last of Us, here’s when you can expect episode 4 and what time it will premiere at.

What time is The Last of Us episode 4 on HBO tonight? (February 5)

The Last of Us episode 4 will premiere at 9:00 p.m. ET, 6:00 p.m. PT, and 8:00 p.m. CT. You can watch it on TV at that time on HBO or stream it on HBO Max as well (with it then being added to the streamer’s library for you to view whenever you choose).

The fourth episode will pick back up with Joel and Ellie’s mission to find Tommy. However, from the looks of the trailer for “Please Hold My Hand”, they will encounter another group of survivors on their journey. This episode will also introduce Melanie Lynskey’s character Kathleen, who leads a revolutionary movement in Kansas City.
