Ever wonder what Marvel Cinematic Universe characters would match certain NFL teams? Look no further. The answer is a click away.

The National Football League has been one of the three most popular sports leagues in America for decades. Every Sunday people tailgate to the stadium to watch their favorite and be with the team’s fans. Or, they’ll sit at home and relax in front of the TV. Then there’s Monday Night Football. Even though most people have to get up early on Tuesday, people still make it a point to stay awake until the games are over.

One of the things that make football so intriguing is the catchphrase “Any given Sunday.” Sometimes it doesn’t matter if the best team is playing the worst team. The underdog can upset even the biggest juggernaut of the league. We’ve seen it happen all the time.

To assume there’s no connection between the NFL and the Marvel Cinematic Universe would be false. Both of them generate millions of dollars each year. The teams prepare for games like the Avengers prepare for war. And, let’s be honest, both the NFL and the MCU are full of personalities in bright-colored spandex.

Coming up, I’ll take all 32 teams and match them with a character in the MCU. The choices will vary from the team’s culture, fan base, players (present and past), moments, and sometimes just the name and logo.
