New Orleans Saints – Star-Lord
In the last several seasons, the New Orleans Saints have only missed the playoffs six times. One of those years they beat the Indianapolis Colts in the 2010 Super Bowl. The Colts were led by future Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning. Thankfully for Saints fans, they had Drew Brees. A future Hall of Famer in his own right. The Saints had a Manning of their own in the past. Archie Manning wasn’t the player his kids were, but he’s in the Saint Ring of Honor and their Hall of Fame.
Drew Brees doesn’t look like the typical NFL quarterback. He’s unassuming but got the job done. Star-Lord is the same way. You wouldn’t think that he helped save the galaxy more than once. He’s too goofy. Despite that, he’s led the Guardians of the Galaxy to victory. They also both have a lot of heart and know how to rally behind their own.
Star-Lord is one of the greatest heroes in the MCU. Peter Quill would be the most emotional New Orleans Saints player of all time. We’ve already seen how he gets when he doesn’t get his way. Imagine him during the Saints’ bad seasons.
