With Super Bowl LVII coming up, fans on the Bam Smack Pow Instagram voted on which comic book characters and teams they’d pick for various football positions and more.

The Super Bowl could be America’s biggest event of the year. Even people who don’t necessarily watch sports tune into the game. And many of those people who don’t know football still notice certain positions and jobs.

The Quarterback is easily the most recognizable and could be the most important position. The running back could be second; watching them run through people easily gets noticed. There are also the cheerleaders who keep the team and crowd pumped up. The team wouldn’t be together if the owners hadn’t made the moves. And, of course, the coach puts the plays together.

Instead of just putting a list together of various comic book characters who could fill those positions at the Super Bowl, we decided to get some feedback from you, the fans. So four characters and teams were put together for each spot. On the Bam Smack Pow Instagram stories, fans voted on who they’d pick. Here are the winners of each category.

Note, some of the math seems screwy because Instagram rounds to the nearest ten.

Super Bowl Running Back

Comic book characters: Wonder Woman, Supergirl, She-Hulk, Captain Marvel

Winner: She-Hulk with 31%

It’s both shocking and not that She-Hulk won this. Some people loved She-Hulk: Attorney at Law‘ some people didn’t. While she makes sense as a choice, it’s amazing that she defeated such stellar competition. Wonder Woman (23% of votes) is incredibly popular, Supergirl (29%) is among the most powerful, and Captain Marvel (17%) took on Thanos and almost won. However, Jennifer Walters is still a Hulk. She could be more powerful than Wonder Woman and Supergirl and is definitely more agile than Captain Marvel. So, this does make sense.
