Super Bowl Sunday promises to be an exciting day for Marvel fans with the release of a new Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 trailer arriving during today’s big game!
Super Bowl Sunday might be about the game for many, but for Marvel fans, it’s a day that has been known to offer up some incredible new glimpses into what’s to come for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Like many studios, Marvel Studios has become known for using the Super Bowl to drop trailers and teasers for its upcoming movies and shows. This is a tactic that has paid off nicely for the studio in the past with its Super Bowl spots often ranking among the most-watched and talked about spots from the game.
As in past years, Marvel is expected to once again make waves this Super Bowl Sunday by releasing a handful of new trailers for upcoming titles. Among those set to be featured is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, with Deadline reporting a new ad spot will be coming during the game.
It’s sure to be a standout for Marvel fans, but when exactly should they be keeping their eye out for the trailer to arrive?
When to expect the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Super Bowl trailer
The new Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 trailer is expected to drop during the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 12, meaning the trailer will be coming sometime during the game. At this time, Marvel has not confirmed during which quarter of the game the trailer will air; however because we know the trailer is coming during the game we’re able to narrow down the window of time for when the trailer will arrive.
FOX’s coverage of the Super Bowl kicks off at 6:30 p.m. ET and will run through 10 p.m. ET that evening, so the new Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 trailer will arrive during this window of time. In addition to airing during the game, the trailer should quickly make its way online helping international fans to enjoy it as well.
