There are some incredible Marvel movies coming to theaters across the year. Here are the Marvel movie release dates for 2023.

2023 has been off to a quiet start for Marvel fans, but that is going to change as the year goes on. Although there hasn’t been a Marvel show or movie to enjoy thus far in the new year, there are some amazing titles coming from Marvel Studios as the year progresses.

In addition to some amazing shows, Marvel will be rolling out three new movies this year — all starring Marvel Cinematic Universe veterans. We’ve for the third installments in the Ant-Man and Guardians franchises coming as well as the highly anticipated sequel to 2019’s Captain Marvel.

2023 Marvel movie release dates

  • Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania – February 17, 2023
  • Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 – May 5, 2023
  • The Marvels – July 28, 2023

Marvel’s first release of 2023 comes this month with the arrival of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania on Feb. 17. The film will kick off what promises to be an eventful year for Marvel fans and is set to play a major role in the upcoming storyline arcs of the franchise building toward the next Avengers movies.

As the summer movie season gears up, Marvel will debut the third and final film in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise. May has long been a major release month for Marvel which makes sense that the studio is looking to drop Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 during the first weekend of May on May 5.

Following Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in May, the final Marvel movie release of the year will come in late July with the release of The Marvels. Opening on July 28, The Marvels will look to capitalize on the prime summer spot as it closes out Marvel Studios’ cinematic offerings of the year.
