Tonight marks the biggest night in football with Super Bowl LVII! Here’s what DC fans can expect for new previews during the commercials.

As millions across the country start preparing for their Super Bowl parties, scheduling their food orders and picking up refreshments, others are counting down the hours until they can see the biggest trailers and sneak peeks of the coming months. Of course, the Super Bowl commercials are ones you don’t want to miss, as the big game is known to premiere huge previews and funny advertisements all night long.

Superhero fans should get excited because DC and Marvel are set to have a presence during the Super Bowl commercials tonight. Here’s what you can expect from the beloved DC Universe.

DC trailers to expect during the 2023 Super Bowl

Definite:

  • The Flash

Deadline published a report detailing all the big trailers and TV spots from the major studios expected to come out during the Super Bowl commercials tonight, and Warner Bros. only has one on the lineup. Yup, that would be The Flash. The upcoming Ezra Miller-led film has been surrounded by controversy but is still slated to release in theaters on June 16, 2023. We’ll be curious to see the reactions to the trailer this evening.

Wishful Thinking:

  • Blue Beetle
  • Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom

As mentioned above, Warner Bros. only has one TV spot confirmed for the Super Bowl this evening, so The Flash is the only trailer we’re 100% expecting to debut. That said, there are two other DC movies coming out in 2023 that we’d love to see short teasers for at the very least. Blue Beetle, starring Cobra Kai‘s Xolo Maridueña as the titular superhero, hits theaters on August 18, meaning they probably don’t have a trailer ready to share. But what about a quick teaser?

The same goes for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, which doesn’t come out in December, but Warner Bros. could totally share a quick first look to hype up fans. We’re counting both these movie previews as wishful thinking for tonight, but something for either would be awesome.

The Super Bowl starts at 6:30 p.m. ET this evening, airing on FOX. If you can’t catch the big game, make sure to follow along with us at Bam Smack Pow as we cover all the big comic and superhero news of the night!
