Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania introduces several new characters including Veb, a jelly-like life form voiced by a very familiar actor.

There is a lot to love about the newest addition to the Ant-Man franchise. As expected, the film welcomes back the returns of several key players from the franchise including Ant-Man/Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), The Wasp/Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly), Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), as well as Scott’s daughter Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton).

The film also welcomes a handful of new characters into the Marvel Cinematic Universe including Quaz (William Jackson Harper), Jentorra (Katy M. O’Brian), and Lord Krylar (Bill Murray) — to name a few — who we meet across the film as our heroes venture into the Quantum Realm.

While it’s easy to spot these actors when they appear directly on-screen, there are a few other characters introduced across the film who aren’t quite as easy to identify due to the fact that they’re brought to life through the power of CGI. This includes the lovable, scene-stealing Veb, a jelly-like life form who seems to possess the ability to help those in the Quantum Realm communicate with one another through his ooze.

Who voices the pink alien character in Ant-Man 3?

From the moment audiences are first introduced to Veb in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumaniathey’re likely going to have the urge to rush to their phones to find out who brings the character to life as Veb’s voice is one that stands out immediately. There are many actors the character happens to sound like, but the actor behind the character of Veb is none other than Ant-Man alum David Dastmalchian!

While Dastmalchian does not reprise his role as Scott Lang’s Eastern European sidekick Kurt, a role he originated in the first two Ant-Man movies, he does return as part of the Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania cast in the role of Veb.

Much like Kurt, Veb brings fans many comedic moments across the film with Dastmalchain delivering a scene-stealing performance as the lovable and crazy pink life form with an obsession with holes that we meet in the Quantum Realm.
