When is Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania coming to Disney Plus?

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is sure going to be a big hit on the big screen in the coming weeks and months, but when can you expect it to stream on Disney Plus?

Scott Lang is preparing for his third adventure with his family into the unknown, but this one goes much deeper than the ones that became before… literally. This time, he, his daughter Cassie, Hope van Dyne and her parents, Janet van Dyne and Hank Pym, are set to enter the Quantum Realm, and perhaps even do battle with Kang the Conqueror.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is the first Marvel Cinematic Universe movie of Phase Five, and it could be the biggest since Avengers: Endgame. Many thought they would never say that about an Ant-Man movie – often seen as an enjoyable palette-cleanser after a more serious movie – but here we are, in a new era.

If you aren’t planning on seeing Ant-Man 3 on the big screen, or you already have and want to know when you can expect to rewatch it on the small one, you’ll probably want to know when it will stream on Disney Plus. Here’s what we know.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Disney Plus release date predictions

Marvel Studios movies tend to arrive on Disney Plus around two months after their theatrical release. It definitely varies from time-to-time. For example, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness premiered on the streaming service just 46 days after it was released in movie theaters, while Thor: Love and Thunder waited a little longer, arriving just over two months after its cinematic debut to launch Disney Plus Day last year.

If Disney and Marvel Studios plan on having a similar release pattern this time around, we could see Ant-Man 3 arrive on Disney Plus in the middle of April, with April 13, or April 20 being the most likely possibilities.

Another thing worth bearing in mind is that the theatrical release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is on May 6, so it’s likely that Ant-Man 3 will be on Disney Plus by then to avoid any kind of overlap.

As always, it’s best to wait for an official announcement from Marvel Studios, but based on previous release patterns, mid-late April is looking like the most realistic possibility right now.
