This week, The Flash returns to The CW with a new episode of its final season. The show’s ninth outing premiered on the network two weeks back, and now it’s back with its third installment.
Last week’s second episode featured one of the show’s most shocking reveals yet (although it wasn’t quite played as such). It turns out that longtime Flash character Caitlin Snow is dead, as her attempt to bring back Frost resulted in the creation of a new character: Khione. While Caitlin could be brought back, they made the decision to allow Khione to decide her own future, and she chose to live, honoring Caitlin’s legacy instead of bringing her back to a world without Frost.
We’ll catch up with Khione again this week, and she’s not the only familiar face we’ll be catching up with. Hartley Rathaway is back on Team Flash in a bid to help Barry Allen take on the new Rogues, and Pied Piper will be joined by Goldface, and The Hotness. Can they take down the threats in front of them and get the Scarlet Speedster one step closer to stopping The Red Death?
