Avengers 5 is slated to feature an incredible ensemble of characters facing off against Kang, and Namor enters the fight in this stunning new poster. 

Kang the Conqueror, the time-traveling conqueror from the future, is gearing up to battle the Avengers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With his advanced technology and vast knowledge of the timeline, Kang poses a formidable threat to Earth’s mightiest heroes.

Now that Kang the Conquerer has formally entered the MCU in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, the rise of Kang is officially underway as the character is set to play a major role in the upcoming Marvel Studios film. The movies will be building toward the first Avengers movie since Avengers: Endgame, a film that forever changed the face of the MCU.

The Avengers will need to be at their best to stand a chance against Kang. They will need to work together, drawing upon their unique skills and abilities to outsmart the Conqueror and protect the timeline from his tyranny. They’ll also need all the help they can get, which will likely pave the way for new Avengers to emerge to join what might be one of the biggest battles in the history of the MCU.

In Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, we’re expected to see the battle between the Avengers and Kang come to a head as they fight what might prove to be their biggest battle yet. All eyes are on which Marvel heroes will be a part of the team who are taking on Kang. One unexpected face fans are expecting to see join the fight is Black Panther: Wakanda Forever breakout Namor, who is ready to face off against Kang in a stunning new poster from digital artist Hibban Mohammed aka Venomhology.

Given how formidable both have proved to be in their introductions, we can only imagine what a fight between these two powerful forces would entail but have no doubt it would have the potential to become one of the greatest battles to unfold in an MCU movie.

Is Namor going to be in Avengers 5?

While Marvel doesn’t typically allow details about the casts for upcoming projects to be revealed too far in advance and hasn’t revealed the full lineup for Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, it has been confirmed that Namor will play a role in the film.

In an interview with ComicBook.com, Avengers 5 writer Jeff Loveness revealed that Namor will have a role in the film and that writing for the character is what he’s most excited about. “Namor, man. I’m excited to write Namor,” Loveness enthusiastically revealed while discussing the early work going into the new Avengers script.

Although his exact role is unknown, it’s clear Namor will have a role in the upcoming film which is exciting for fans of the breakout character. It also makes sense as Namor joined the Avengers to fight Kang in The Kang Dynasty comic book arc, one which is expected to inspire the upcoming film.
