4. CM Punk

CM Punk has never been afraid to be who he is. Among them is a fan of comics. Before he makes his way to the ring, he gets on one knee, looks at his wrist, and yells Ben Grimm’s, “It’s clobberin’ time!” This is one of the most iconic comic book phrases of all time. He also co-wrote the Drax Marvel comic book, he has a G.I. Joe Cobra tattoo and has been in a horror movie. More importantly, C.M. Punk continues to dance to the beat of his own drum. There’s nothing nerdier than that.

3. A.J. Mendez

There are a lot of things you can say about A.J. Mendez. Among them is being a New York Times Best Seller. Her book “Crazy Is My Superpower: How I Triumphed by Breaking Bones, Breaking Hearts, and Breaking the Rules.” One of the things she talks about in this book is always having a love for nerdy things like video games and wrestling. Once upon a time, wanting to be a wrestler was scoffed at if you were a woman. It didn’t stop A.J. Mendez from following her dream.

A.J. Lee hasn’t wrestled in years, but she’s continued her writing career. She’s written comics like GLOW vs. The Babyface and Wonder Woman: Black and Gold: Mother’s Daughter. She’s also a writer on the 2022 movie Blade of the 47 Ronin.
