The Batman 2 begins filming this November in the United Kingdom
The Batman 2 is gearing up to head into production later this year, with a new report offering up a promising update on Matt Reeves’ anticipated sequel.
The Batman 2 might not arrive in theaters until Oct. 2025, but it seems production on the highly anticipated sequel will be kicking off sooner than some might think! Jordan Ruimy of World of Reel has revealed the sequel to The Batman is revealed to begin filming in the UK in November of this year.
Robert Pattinson will reprise his role as the Caped Crusader with Andy Serkis also confirmed to reprise his role as Alfred Pennyworth. Zoë Kravitz, Jeffrey Wright, and Colin Farrell are likely to return in Part II but have yet to be confirmed for the highly anticipated sequel. Meanwhile, Matt Reeves is once again in the director’s chair and co-writing the screenplay with Mattson Tomlin.

It stars Colin Farrell as the titular mobster, Cristin Milioti, Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Deirdre O’Connell, and Rhenzy Feliz.
