This Tuesday, Superman and Lois makes its long-awaited return to The CW. The DC TV series wrapped its second season back in June and since then fans have been longing for its return. Now, the time is finally upon us.
There has been an overwhelming amount of change at The CW over the past year, with the network cancelling many of its shows as it was sold to Nexstar (and the similarly restructuring Warner Bros. Discovery reportedly responsible for the cancellation of two shows The CW did want to move forward with in Batwoman and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow). That has left the fate of Superman and Lois in jeopardy.
Nevertheless, DC Studios bosses James Gunn and Peter Safran are happy for it to carry on. Now, we’ll just have to wait and see if The CW plan on renewing it for a fourth season – and it would make sense to do that as it’s currently one of the network’s two most-watched shows.
