Superman and Lois season 3 returns with its sophomore episode. Here’s all you need to know about “Uncontrollable Forces”.

Superman and Lois made its long-awaited return to The CW last week to some pretty super ratings and high praise from fans who couldn’t wait for season 3 to premiere. The show once again showed us all why it’s the best superhero show on television today, and set up some intriguing storylines going forward.

With season 3 having officially kicked off, we can now enjoy new episodes on a weekly basis, starting with this week’s upcoming second episode “Uncontrollable Forces”. And here’s what you can expect from Superman and Lois season 3 episode 2.

Superman and Lois season 3 episode 2, titled “Uncontrollable Forces”, airs on The CW This Tuesday night, March 21, at 8:00 p.m. ET.

After that, a new episode of Gotham Knights will air at 9:00 p.m. ET.

The sophomore episode of Superman and Lois season 3 sounds like it could be something of an ensemble piece, as the synopsis highlights that there will be three major storylines worth paying attention to.

The first naturally revolves around Clark and Lois, as it seems the latter will continue to struggle with her feelings over everything that happened in the premiere – which Clark and Chrissy will notice. Then you have the uncertain dynamic between Jordan and Sarah continuing, and Lana will receive a phone call that leaves her unsettled – something we saw in the season 3 trailer.

"ELIZABETH HENSTRIDGE DIRECTS THE EPISODE – Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) and Chrissy (Sofia Hasmik) both notice a small crack in Lois’ (Elizabeth Tulloch) game face. Meanwhile, Sarah (Inde Navarette) and Jordan (Alex Garfin) have an awkward encounter. Lastly, Lana (Emmanuelle Chriqui) receives a panicked phone call."

The official trailer for “Uncontrollable Forces” was released after the season 3 premiere of Superman and Lois aired on The CW. It’s an intense one that promises what looks to be a very powerful episode.

The official promo stills for Superman and Lois season 3 episode 2, “Uncontrollable Forces” were released by The CW just before the premiere, giving fans a teaser of what’s to come from the season.

It seems that the Kent Family will have fallen from cloud nine after the premiere episode suggested that their family could grow. From the looks of these promo photos, Lois will have something of a tough time as she processes everything that has happened in recent days.

Lois stares out a window, perhaps zoning out of a family moment to think about the fact that she’s not pregnant and might have some health concerns to be worried about.

That seems to be a running theme with these promos, as we have more photos of Lois looking concerned.

Always by her side, Clark looks on as he seemingly shares the office space with Lois and Chrissy in this particular scene (if it is the same scene, that is).

Kyle and Chrissy catch up after their intimate interaction in the season 3 premiere. Are they discussing that, or does it seem like Kyle is there with her on official business?

Sarah and Natalie chat in Smallville’s favorite diner. It seems like they might be studying, but they are also involved in what looks like an intense conversation. What are they discussing?

Now, they have ended up in what appears to be a party. Are they regretting this decision? They certainly don’t look happy in this still.

They do, however, look happy in this still. Why is Sarah smiling at Natalie like that, and who does Natalie have her eyes on?

Speaking of who, who is this young man who seems to have caught Natalie’s attention? Is this a party they are at, and could this be the beginning of a beautiful friendship? And where did Sarah go?

Few people on television pull off powerful moments quite like Clark Kent and Lois Lane, and this intimate moment looks like it could be just another example of that. We love Clois so much, and are hoping that this episode is a good one for them.

Mayor Lana Lang and John Henry Irons are seemingly having a meal together. Is this another one of those new dynamics that Superman and Lois season 3 has been exploring, or does Mr. Irons need assistance in his hunt for Bruno Mannheim?

Jonathan and Jordan show us the (super) models that they are with some intense posing and staring off into the distance. What are they looking at, and why does it look like a plan is forming?

Lois looks on with a troubled look in her face. What is going through her mind after the emotional rollercoaster of the season 3 premiere?

Lois shares a tight hug with Clark that you can just feel the love between these two radiating from. Notice, though, that Clark is dressed as Superman in this moment. Have the pair just been involved in a traumatic showdown, or is there something else that warrants such an emotional reaction from the two?
