There are a lot of actors fans think should play the new Superman, but according to AI the perfect actor for the role is someone few are talking about.

Change is coming to DC’s cinematic universe. With James Gunn and Peter Safran now in charge as co-chairs and co-CEOs of DC Studios, the pair are working on cleaning house as they work to build a new connected universe on the big and small screen.

In building their new universe, Gunn and Safran will be turning to some of the biggest DC properties in their arsenal which means introducing new versions of the franchise’s top heroes. Among the heroes set to play a major role in DC’s new chapter is the Man of Steel, who will soar again in 2025’s Superman: Legacy.

This new film will introduce a new Superman into the DC Universe with Henry Cavill’s time as the Man of Steel coming to an official end. While little is known about the upcoming film, we do know that it will feature a brand new actor in the role which is something that has created a lot of buzz among audiences.

As speculation over who should play Superman in James Gunn’s upcoming Superman film continues to swirl, we decided to ask AI who it believes would be the perfect actor to suit up as the Man of Steel — and the answer definitely surprised us in the best way possible!

Who should play the new Superman (According to AI)

As fans continue to discuss who should replace Henry Cavill and play Superman in James Gunn’s upcoming film, we decided to ask AI who should play the role of Superman. In asking AI to tell us the actor who is best suited to play Superman, the only criteria we provided was that its selection be someone who had never played Superman before given we know DC is looking to cast a brand new actor for the role.

So who does AI believe would be best suited to play the Man of Steel next? According to AI, Henry Golding should play the next Superman, and here’s why:

"There are many actors who could potentially be great in the role of Superman, but if we’re looking for someone who has never played the character before and who fits the traditional physical characteristics and heroic persona associated with the Man of Steel, my recommendation would be Henry Golding.Golding is a talented actor who has already proven himself in a range of roles, including in action films like Snake Eyes and The Gentlemen. He has a strong presence and a commanding screen presence, which are important qualities for playing a superhero. Additionally, he has the physique and chiseled features that are often associated with the character of Superman.Of course, casting decisions are complex and involve many factors beyond just physical appearance and acting ability. But if we’re strictly considering actors who have never played Superman before, I think Golding would be an excellent choice."

Honestly, we have to admit that we love AI’s selection as Golding would absolutely make an amazing Superman! As AI points out, Golding definitely has the build to pull off the character but more importantly he’s an incredible actor who has delivered some amazing performances across his career to support why he’d be the perfect pick for the role.

He’s more than capable of pulling off the dual sides that come with playing both Clark Kent and Superman as he has remarkable versatility and range in his performances. Golding has a natural screen presence and charisma that draws viewers in. He is able to convey a wide range of emotions with subtlety and nuance, and his performances are often layered and complex.

There’s no telling who DC might select to play the next Superman, but AI is definitely onto something with its recommendation to cast Golding in the role of the Man of Steel. Let’s just hope the DC brass might take a cue from AI and consider Golding as casting conversations begin to gain traction.
