Who’s involved in the 2023 X-Men: Hellfire Gala? What could possibly happen this year? Find out all of that and more right here.

The X-Men: Hellfire Gala has become the Marvel Comics event of the year. In 2021, the mutants terraformed Mars and claimed it for themselves. In 2022, the secret behind resurrection was revealed and brought up and Cyclops learned the truth behind how Krakoa was created.

According to Marvel.com, the Hellfire Gala will be just as important to mutants this year. The crucial news involves the X-Men event Fall of X.

So far, Marvel has been tight lipped about what’s going to happen in Fall of X. However, if you know about the X-Men, then you know this could be the beginning of the end. Things haven’t been great for mutants in general, but they’re better than they’ve ever been. For once in history, mutants were enjoying their lives. They abandoned human norms and discovered themselves in ways that didn’t seem possible. Of course this wouldn’t last forever. As much as this writer would like to believe this isn’t the end, it most likely is.

"“July’s X-MEN: HELLFIRE GALA #1 will be a giant-sized one-shot that propels mutantkind into an unpredictable future. All your favorite X-Men are going to be left reeling after a series of shocking revelations, stunning betrayals, horrifying tragedy, impossible deaths…and more.”-Marvel.com"

Writer Gerry Duggan will be behind the newest X-Men: Hellfire Gala. He’ll be joined by fantastic artists Joshua Cassara, Adam Kubert, Kris Anka, Pepe Larraz, R.B. Silva, and Luciano Vecchio. And, of course, Russell Dauterman will be involved. He’s already shown one of his Gala outfits and it looks fantastic. As great as the stories have been, Dauterman’s creativity and art is worth the price all by itself. He truly brings the event to life with his suit, gown, and outfit designs.

Lastly, a look at the cover will show you the people who could be the most important. For the heroes, Cyclops, Jean, Grey, Kat Pryde, Exodus, Madelyne Prior and Emma Frost are front and center. On the side of the villains there’s one of the Sinister Clones and the Nimrod Sentinel. Both evil beings have been a major part of the X-Men’s lore. Especially over the last four years. But does this mean they’re both invited, crash the party, or start the actual fall of the X-Men?
