Henry Cavill is out as Superman. Ben Affleck was booted as Batman. Jason Momoa’s time as Aquaman is rumored to end with this December’s Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam did not change the hierarchy of the DCEU with Johnson out after just one appearance as the hero he spent years working to bring to the big screen. The list seems to go on and on.

As DC Studios looks to start fresh with its new slate under Gunn and Safran’s leadership, it’s looking likely that there won’t be many holdovers from the previous DCEU. This means it’s incredibly likely we might have seen the last of Gadot’s Wonder Woman via her recent cameo in The Flash.

Gadot has teased that there could be something in the works, but given how Gunn and Safran seem to be looking to bring in a new set of actors to play the key roles in the DCU it’s looking likely a new Wonder Woman will soon be cast.
