Nick Offerman roles
Character: Bill
Nick Offerman may have the most balanced career of everyone on this list. Fans immediately think of him as Ron Swanson from Parks and Recreation where he shined. People still watch clips of him from that show years later. Recently, Offerman played a more serious role in Amazon Prime’s A League of Their Own, a project definitely worth checking out. Nick Offerman even played himself in The Good Place. After playing Bill in The Last of Us, he’ll be in higher demand than he’s ever been.
Murray Bartlett roles
Character: Frank
Murray Bartlett is coming off an award-winning performance from White Lotus (another HBO project) in 2022 where he won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie. He immediately plays a role in The Last of Us where he could win another award. At the very least he should be nominated. This writer recommends you watch Welcome to Chippendales where Bartlett plays Nick De Noia. He was spectacular. However, you’ll either love or hate his character. Either way, he’ll make you feel something.
