This Wednesday, a new episode of Riverdale airs on The CW. It’s the first episode of the show to air since summer 2022, but it’s also the beginning of the end of the series as it’s the start of the final season.
Things are looking pretty different in town these days. The outfits, the cars, the music, the outlooks, and it’s all down to the fact that the characters have somehow found themselves transported back to the 1950s. They are also back in high school, which is just weird given that they had long since past their college years during season 5’s time jump.
The trailer reveals that Jughead Jones is the only one who remembers the past six seasons of the show, and he will somehow have to convince Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, Cheryl Blossom, Toni Topaz, Kevin Keller, Fangs Fogarty and the rest of his friends that things aren’t what they seem. But in a town where the unusual seemingly hasn’t happened yet, how will Jughead convince them that their current situation is very, very unusual.
Riverdale‘s season 7 premiere is going to be the beginning of the end of an era, but needless to say, fans are excited to see how it all kicks off, especially as it’s already shaping up to be the most fresh and enjoyable season in years.
