As fans wonder whether James Gunn and Peter Safran will recast all the Justice League heroes in the DCU, we’re dream casting the Justice League actors.

We all know what happened with Henry Cavill, who played Superman since 2013’s Man of Steel — he’s out. Naturally, the news left many fans devastated, as Cavill became a fan favorite over the years. Fear, not my friends, James Gunn and Peter Safran promise a fresh take on the Man of Steel.

Next, we have Ben Affleck who has played Batman in three films. While his portrayal of the Dark Knight was divisive among fans, there is no denying that Affleck brought a certain gravitas to the role. But with rumors swirling that he may be out, we could see a new actor donning the cape and cowl. Who could it be? Your guess is as good as mine.

And what about Gal Gadot, who has played Wonder Woman since 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice? There have been some questions about her future in the role, but I have a feeling that we’ll be seeing her kicking butt and taking names for a while longer. And let’s not forget about Ezra Miller, who has played the Flash since 2016 as well. While there have been some controversies surrounding Miller, I have a feeling that we’ll be seeing them in the role for the foreseeable future. For the sake of this article let’s say they won’t be back.

So, what do we make of all this potential recasting? Well, it’s important to remember that nothing is set in stone just yet. While James Gunn has stated that he would not recast everyone, it’s still fun to imagine what could happen. Who knows, we could see some fresh faces in iconic roles, and maybe even some surprising choices that we never saw coming.

At the end of the day, it’s all about the story. If Gunn and Safran can deliver a compelling narrative with new actors in the lead roles. Don’t expect to see Cyborg on this list, yes I know he’s been retconned to be a Justice League member, but we all know that was a mistake. John Stewart, whom we all love as Green Lantern won’t make the list, but he deserves a solo film. Trevante Rhodes would be amazing by the way. Speaking of Green Lantern, he kicks off the list.
