Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Green Arrow

Stephen Amell will forever be Oliver Queen, but the DCU needs to focus on Green Arrow and have him part of the Justice League. It takes a special well-versed actor to pull off the depths of Oliver Queen — Aaron Taylor-Johnson is that guy.

He’s a star who can carry a film, and he’s proven his ability to bring a sense of intensity and depth to his characters. Naturally, given his resume, he’s more than capable of depicting the complex and nuanced character of Oliver Queen. Look no further than his roles in Nocturnal Animals and Outlaw King, and Bullet Train.

Who can forget his role in the MCU as Quicksilver in Avengers: Age of Ultron, The King’s Men, and Tenet, which showcased his ability to handle intense action scenes and make them believable? The main reason why Aaron Taylor-Johnson could make a great Green Arrow is his ability to capture the character’s tone from the comics. Green Arrow is known for his witty humor, but also for his social commentary and political activism. Taylor-Johnson has shown his own political beliefs in interviews, proving that he could bring an authentic voice to the role.

It’s clear that Green Arrow needs a solo film and eventually team up with the Justice League, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson could be the actor to bring him to life. With his talent, physicality, and ability to capture the character’s tone, he could give a breakout performance as Oliver Queen, making him a fan-favorite hero in the DC cinematic universe.
