The Flash season 9 returns to The CW with its eighth episode in the final season. Here’s how you can watch “Partners In Time” online.

This Wednesday, a new episode of The Flash airs on The CW. The show is currently airing its final season on the network and we’re now over the halfway point.

Fans of the show have been conflicted about season 9. While it has certainly produced some entertaining episodes, it feels very disconnected for a final season – something that isn’t helped by its mini-storyline/interval/mini-storyline format that should have been reserved for longer seasons only.

We’re currently in the midst of the “interval” arcs now, with last week’s episode bringing fan-favorite Supergirl character Dreamer/Nia Nal (Nicole Maines) back to the Arrowverse for a team-up with Iris West-Allen. It was definitely one of the best episodes of the season thus far, even if it was a little disconnected from the wider storyline of the show.

The interval rolls on now with an episode that focuses solely on Barry and Iris (long overdue, right?) as they appear to be trapped in S.T.A.R. Labs together. Yes, another standalone might be frustrating to fans, but at least this one is actually going to focus on the lead characters.
