Clive Standen as Torrhen Stark

Yes, Clive Standen can and should take on the role of Torrhen Stark. If you’re a fan of Vikings, you may already be familiar with this talented actor’s work. Standen, who played the fierce warrior Rollo on the popular historical drama, would be a perfect fit for the role of Torrhen.

Torrhen Stark, also known as the King Who Knelt, was the last King in the North before the Targaryen conquest. He chose to submit to Aegon Targaryen’s rule rather than risk the lives of his people in a futile battle. Torrhen was a noble and wise leader who always put his people first, and Standen would be able to capture that spirit perfectly.

Clive Standen is an accomplished actor with an impressive range. He has shown his ability to portray complex characters with ease, and his experience in historical dramas would make him an excellent choice to play Torrhen Stark. His performance as Rollo on Vikings showcased his ability to play a character torn between loyalty to his family and his own ambitions, which would be perfect for Torrhen’s role in the War of Conquest.

Torrhen Stark was a man of great strength and courage but also had a deep sense of honor and duty. He was known for his imposing and commanding presence, and Standen’s rugged looks and physicality would make him an excellent choice to portray the King in the North.

Other actors may be considered for the role, but none would bring the same level of experience and versatility as Clive Standen. He has already proven himself as a talented actor, and fans of the War of Conquest series would be lucky to see him take on the role of Torrhen Stark.
