Jonathan Bailey as Orys Baratheon

Fans of the hit show Bridgerton will recognize Jonathan Bailey as the dashing and charming Anthony Bridgerton. However, many believe that he would be the perfect fit to play the strong and skilled warrior, Orys Baratheon, in the upcoming series.

So why would Jonathan Bailey be the perfect choice for the role of Orys Baratheon? For starters, Bailey has the physical build and presence to play a formidable warrior. He also has a versatility in his acting that would lend itself well to the complex character of Orys Baratheon.

In the story, Orys Baratheon was a close friend of Aegon Targaryen and rumored to be his half-brother. He was a skilled warrior who founded House Baratheon and became the first Hand of the King. He played a pivotal role in the War of Conquest, leading the charge on the ground while Aegon rode his dragon, Balerion.

Bailey’s portrayal of Anthony Bridgerton showcased his ability to play a layered and complex character. Orys Baratheon, like Anthony, is a character with a lot of depth and nuance. He is fiercely loyal to Aegon and his cause, but he also struggles with his own identity and his relationship with Aegon’s sisters, Rhaenys and Visenya.

Some fans have suggested other actors for the role of Orys Baratheon, but Jonathan Bailey stands out as the perfect choice. He has the talent, the looks, and the presence to bring the character to life in a way that will resonate with fans of the books and the show alike.
