Abbey Lee as Visenya Targaryen

Visenya is a powerful and feared warrior who rode the dragon Vhagar during the War of Conquest. She was known for her strictness and her rumored skill with weapons, and she played a crucial role in securing Aegon’s reign as the first Targaryen king of Westeros.

Abbey Lee is a rising star in Hollywood with an impressive list of credits to her name. Her versatility and stunning looks make her the perfect choice to play Visenya. Lee has already proven her acting chops in the award-winning and unfairly canceled series Lovecraft Country, where she killed it as the alluring and dangerous Christina Braithwhite.

While some fans have suggested Katheryn Winnick for the role, at 45 years old, she is much older than Visenya’s character in the novels. Other strong contenders include Elizabeth Debicki, but the 5’11” Abbey Lee quite literally stands out as a top choice for the role.

Visenya’s popularity among fans is due in part to her complexity as a character. She is both feared and admired for her power and strictness, and her relationship with her brother Aegon and sister Rhaenys is a fascinating dynamic that has captivated readers for years.

With Abbey Lee’s talent, she could bring Visenya to life in a way that would leave fans thrilled and eager to see more. She would be a great choice to bring one of the most important characters in Westerosi history to the small screen. Other great options are Lucy Boynton, Daisy Ridley, Kaya Scodelario, or Claire Holt.
