There have been some amazing sequel films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but which of the Marvel sequels is the best of the best?
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has taken the world by storm since its inception in 2008 with the release of Iron Man. Since the release of Iron Man, the MCU has seen over 30 movies and numerous TV shows, becoming a cultural phenomenon and a dominant force in the entertainment industry.
One of the many strengths of the franchise has been its ability to launch new franchises through amazing origin films. These movies have helped to introduce characters who would go on to become key figures within the MCU and lay the foundation for the follow-up films that would follow.
While Marvel has a winning record of serving up amazing origin stories, its track record with sequels is a bit more hit and miss. While there are many sequels fans adore that did a perfect job of building upon the foundation laid in the origin films, others have fallen a bit flat leaving fans wondering what went wrong.
