5. Avengers: Infinity War

Avengers: Infinity War was Tom Holland’s third Marvel movie, and Peter Parker has a huge role in the film. Working together with Tony Stark, Peter Parker tries to rescue Doctor Strange after he’s taken by Thanos’s minions after they attacked Earth to claim the Time Stone, which Thanos will then use to finish his mission and restore balance to the universe.

Infinity War is another great MCU movie. It’s definitely in the top half of the MCU movies, but it’s just not as good as some of the other movies that Holland is involved in. As mentioned, Holland has been in so many big movies! It’s great to see Peter Parker and the Avengers new and old working together to stop Thanos. Eventually, they come up a little short in stopping the big guy from snapping his fingers, which sends Earth into chaos. At the end of the movie, Peter gets Snapped by Thanos and disappears.

While Infinity War is a good movie and stands on its own, it largely leaves things unresolved. It’s a major L for the Avengers and Earth, but it basically sets up the events of Avengers: Endgame, which you’ll also find on this list.
