The second half of season 4 will be the last for Titans on HBO. As viewers expected, the first half of the season concluded with a cliffhanger. Jinx was killed by Mother Mayhem, Sebastian became Brother Blood, and some of the Titans disappeared. The trailer for the second half of season 4 showed Koriand’r (Starfire) and Dick Grayson (Nightwing) living a life without being heroes, Raven and Sebastian being connected, and Tim Drake training with Jason Todd. It also showed that Conner Kent’s darker side might be permanent.

Conner Kent becoming more like Lex Luthor is going to be the most interesting part of Titans’ final run on HBO. He’s becoming more like Lex Luthor. Lex is bad enough. Imagine Lex Luthor with the power of Superman. That’s a terrifying thought. Fans have to wonder what he’ll do with Lex’s money and influence. The easy answer is it’ll be nothing good. The next question is will this be a permanent personality change or will the more Clark Kent side of Conner return?

As Titans is an HBO Max-exclusive series, the 2-episode midseason premiere of season 4 – and indeed the rest of the season – can only be viewed on the paid subscription service itself (HBO Max) in the U.S. If you live outside of the U.S., the episodes will be added to Netflix (along with the rest of Season 4) some time after the season finishes.
