5. Sophie Turner

Sophie Turner, widely known for her portrayal of Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones, has shown incredible acting skills and potential to become a remarkable superhero character. With her natural charisma and strong screen presence, she could be a perfect fit for the role of Mera, the Queen of Atlantis, in the DC Universe.

Turner’s talent was somewhat squandered in the X-Men franchise, where she played the role of Jean Grey. While her performances were commendable, the scripts didn’t quite do her justice, and the movies failed to impress audiences and critics alike. However, playing Mera could be Turner’s second chance at the superhero genre, and she could finally showcase her acting abilities and range.

Mera is a fierce and powerful character who is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in. She possesses immense strength and is a skilled warrior, making her an ideal character for Turner, who has already shown her ability to portray strong-willed women. It also helps that Turner’s unique looks and striking red hair could add an extra dimension to Mera’s already impressive appearance.

Turner’s talent and the character of Mera seem like a perfect match. Playing this role could give her a chance to shine in the superhero genre, and prove her potential as an actress beyond her notable role in Game of Thrones.
