Delaying the release of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will prove to be a good move when the game is eventually released.

When the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League video game was announced, it seemed like a good idea. Some of them were in LEGO games, DLCs, or in 1-on-1 fighting games. This is the first time these characters have been given starring roles in an anticipated game. Plus, the Suicide Squad movies made the characters popular beyond just comic book fans.

Unfortunately, some of the hype for the game dropped after the gameplay was released (check out the video below).

You can’t satisfy everyone, but the response to the action didn’t leave people happy (more on that right here). This could have slowed down or halted the game’s preorder sales. However, there is some good and unfortunate news regarding the fans’ complaints or concerns. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’s creators took note. The original release date was moved from May 26, 2023 to February 2024. That’s the bad news. The good news is the delay is happening so the developers can give gamers a better product.

The announcement came via the game’s official Twitter account with a message that said, “We have made the tough but necessary decision to take the time needed to work on getting the game to be the best quality experience for players.”

This is similar to when the first images for Sonic the Hedgehog were released and the images were the stuff of nightmares. Instead of being stubborn, the creative team changed the look. That change is part of the reason why Sonic is now a legitimate money-making movie franchise.

Whatever the developers and creative team behind Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League are changing hasn’t been revealed. Nevertheless, as someone who’s anticipating the video game’s release, the delay is appreciated.

No one wants to purchase a game that’s not worth the money. Especially not at the current prices. Hopefully, the alterations that are being made will be worth the wait. The last thing anyone wants is another Marvel’s Avengers from 2020.

Stay tuned to Bam Smack Pow for more news on the game as it comes out.
