3. Noah Centineo

Why would Noah Centineo be perfect in the role of Cyclops? First off, he’s got the look. That classic all-American boy-next-door thing going on. But don’t let that fool you, he’s also got serious acting chops. Have you seen him in To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before or The Recruit? The guy can emote like nobody’s business — a key for a character like Cyclops whose eyes are typically covered making emoting emotion through other means key.

Some folks might be hesitant to cast a rom-com star as a superhero but hear us out. Cyclops is more than just a tough guy with laser eyes. He’s a leader, a strategist, and a mentor. He’s got heart and he cares about his team. Centineo could bring all of those qualities to the character. Plus, let’s not forget that Cyclops is a bit of a romantic himself (hello, Jean Grey), so it wouldn’t hurt to have someone with some rom-com experience in the role.

But most importantly, Centineo could bring fresh energy to the X-Men. We’ve seen a lot of dark and brooding superhero movies lately, and a more lighthearted approach could be just what the MCU needs. And who better to lead that charge than Noah Centineo? The guy’s got charm for days, and he could make Cyclops a character that audiences can really root for.

DC squandered his potential in Black Adam and his time at DC is likely finished thanks to the reboot going on with the franchise. Marvel should make DC’s latest loss their gain by bringing Centineo into the fold within the MCU via a role on the X-Men team!
