1. Henry Cavill

There are honestly countless characters Henry Cavill could play in the MCU, including the X-Men’s frequent leader, Scott Summers — in fact, we’ve already seen how amazing he could look in the role should Marvel come knocking.

Cavill has the physicality and imposing presence that Cyclops requires. He has already shown us in his role as Superman that he can fill out the spandex suit and command the screen as a superhero. Cyclops is a natural leader, and Cavill has the kind of charisma and gravitas that would make him the perfect choice to lead the X-Men on the big screen.

Like most of the X-Men, Cyclops is a complex character, and Cavill has the acting chops to bring out all of his nuances. Cyclops is a man who has had to shoulder a lot of responsibility in his life, and he often struggles with the weight of it all. Cavill has shown us in his performances that he can bring depth and vulnerability to a character, while still being a badass hero.

With Cavill out as Superman, he can now take on a new superhero challenge. Marvel has a knack for casting actors who are not only great at playing superheroes but who also become beloved by fans for their performances. With Cavill’s talent and popularity, he could easily become one of the most iconic portrayals of Cyclops in the MCU.
