They have been featured in numerous comics, graphic novels, and animated TV shows, and have also had two live-action films in the past.

In a stunning piece of concept art, digital artist Agt Design envisions Driver in the role of the Fantastic Four’s iconic leader in a piece of art that makes a compelling argument for why Marvel should be considering him for the role.

Via the concept art pictured above, Driver dons the Fantastic Four’s signature super suit set against a space-like lab which seems fitting given Reed’s status as one of the smartest minds in Marvel and how crucial space is to the Fantastic Four’s origins. While the image might just be concept art at this time, it gives us a clear idea of what Driver could like in the role and we have to admit we like what we’re seeing.

Has Adam Driver been cast in Marvel’s Fantastic Four movie?

Although Marvel has not yet cast the members of the Fantastic Four for its upcoming Fantastic Four movie, new rumors suggest that Driver is Marvel Studios’ top choice to play the role of Reed Richards. In fact, he’s said to be in final talks with Marvel about the role!

Entertainment insider Grace Randolph was first to hint that Driver had emerged as a likely candidate to play Mr. Fanststic in the MCU, replacing John Krasinski who originated the role in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Following Randolph’s initial report, The Direct has doubled down on the rumor suggesting that Driver is not only in the race for the role but at the top of Marvel’s casting wish list.

Most recently, fellow Marvel insider Daniel Richtman reported that Marvel Studios was in final talks with Driver to lock him down for the role.

Disney does have a history of working with the same actors on big projects so it would make sense for Driver to be on their radar after his role in the Star Wars sequels trilogy. Could Driver be the latest Star Wars actor to join the MCU? Only time will tell, but it’s definitely looking like a strong potential.

When is Marvel’s Fantastic Four movie coming out?

Originally, Marvel’s Fantastic Four movie was slated to arrive on November 8, 2024; however, the movie has since been shifted back and will now open on Valentine’s Day 2025. That’s right, Fantastic Four is scheduled to hit theaters on February 14, 2025.

It’s an interesting date choice for Marvel and it should be interesting to see how the film performs on the holiday weekend as it doesn’t seem like an expected pick for a Valentine’s Day trip to the movie. However, if there is any studio that can succeed in opening a major blockbuster on Valentine’s Day, it’s definitely Marvel.
