Marvel Comics’ Hellfire Gala is the beginning of a new era for the X-Men. Before the Fall of X, check out the best outfits of the gala.

The Marvel Comics’ Hellfire Gala became one of the most important moments for the X-Men. In the real world, it starts the new era for the X-Men and mutants in general. A new roster is created and there’s always drama that bleeds into multiple comics.

For example, 2021 ended with the death of Scarlet Witch and continued into The Trial of Magneto. That leads to more mutants being resurrected. In 2022, the world found out about the Resurrection Protocols. Meanwhile, Cyclops learned how Moira being a mutant brought about Krakoa. While all of that is important to Marvel Comics, the most popular part of the Hellfire Gala has been the gala outfits.

Each year, the artists of Marvel Comics put multiple heroes and villains in some of the most awe inspiring outfits. Among those artists is Russell Dauterman, who always designs the best and most creative outfits. He’s already designed one for Jean Grey and it looks as great as always. On Marvel Comics’ official Twitter account, over a dozen new costumes were released and each of them perfectly relate to the character.

Captain Marvel is wearing blue, red, and gold with a very military looking jacket. T’Challa is looking smooth as always in purple and black with a shawl and cape. Meanwhile, Emma Frost is in all white (not shocking). She didn’t go over the top this year, but there’s still diamonds on her outfit. Iceman looks cool (pun intended) in an ice-blue and white suit. This writer’s favorite may be Vision’s. He’s draped in a green cape, no shirt, and something that resembles a sarong.

Others like Kate Pryde, Miles Morales (Spider-Man), and Wilson Fisk (who apparently still has immunity) were also showcased in Marvel Comics’ Hellfire Gala Green Carpet tweet. As fans get closer to the Hellfire Gala, more looks will be revealed. Keep an eye out for your favorite heroes and villains. They’ll give a hint to the future of the X-Men and Marvel Comics in general.

Stay tuned to Bam Smack Pow’s Instagram for more of the looks as they come out.
