5. Wolverine and the X-Men
Wolverine and the X-Men is an animated series that premiered in 2009, telling the story of the X-Men’s reassembling under the guidance of Wolverine. The show begins with an explosive event that destroys the Xavier Institute and separates the X-Men, forcing them to go their separate ways. But with the threat of a coming war looming, Wolverine must gather the team back together to face their biggest challenge yet.
As the team comes back together, they not only have to deal with the impending war but also the day-to-day struggles of being mutants in a world that fears and hates them. Each member of the team brings their own unique set of skills to the table, from Cyclops’ powerful optic blasts to Rogue’s ability to absorb other mutants’ powers.
Throughout the series, the X-Men are pitted against a range of enemies, from the powerful and manipulative Emma Frost to the unstoppable Juggernaut. The show also explores the complex relationships between the X-Men and their allies and enemies, adding depth and complexity to the story.
